Special Student Status
A Special Student is a registered student, who while not a candidate for a degree, is permitted to take up to 10 credits prior to applying to a degree program. Special Students must complete the appropriate application and meet all academic requirements for admission to Atlantic School of Theology. Credits obtained while in the status of Special Student may be brought forward and applied to a degree program. Special Students may also decide to apply for admission to the Graduate Certificate Program in Theological Studies at the completion of 10 credits.
The academic requirement for admission as a Special Student is a Bachelor's degree (or its equivalent) from a recognized university, with a minimum of a ‘B’ or 70% average (or the grade point average equivalent).
