About Measha Brueggergosman

Measha has presented song recitals at Carnegie Hall, the Kennedy Center, Wigmore Hall, the Konzerthaus and Musikverein in Vienna, the Teatro Real, as well as at the Schwarzenberg, Edinburgh, Tanglewood, Verbier, Bergen, and Toronto Jazz Festivals. Recent opera highlights include: Giulietta and Antonia in LES CONTES D’HOFFMAN, Elettra in IDOMENEO, Jenny in Weill’s MAHAGONNY, Hannah in Miroslav Srnka’s MAKE NO NOISE, and Sister Rose in Jake Heggie’s DEAD MAN WALKING. Last season she returned to Carnegie Hall with the NEW WORLD SYMPHONY, performed Elettra in IDOMENEO at Opera Atelier, and gave a recital at the Barbican Center. She most recently completed a run of Christmas concerts with the TORONTO SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA and was the invited soloist with the ORCHESTRE DE PARIS, THE PHILADELPHIA ORCHESTRA, THE LOS ANGELES PHILHARMONIC, SAN FRANCISCO SYMPHONY and NEW WORLD SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA. Measha has released several Juno and Grammy award-winning albums and recently launched her memoir SOMETHING IS ALWAYS ON FIRE. Measha champions the education and involvement of new audiences and holds several honorary doctorates and ambassadorial titles with international charities.
