Church Renewal in Response to the Sexual Abuse Crisis

An opportunity to explore the role of systemic and cultural factors including leadership, selfunderstanding, structure and reflective practices in light of the response to the clergy sexual abuse crisis. This conference will begin to explore ways in which cultural transformation can support our call to be in Christ through ecclesiology, through insights from secular studies on the dynamics of the sexual abuse of children and youth, and through an exploration of the role of the laity.
