About the Instructor

Dr. Shawn Jolemore is a Project Director within the Faculty of Open Learning & Career Development at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia. A self-described “pracademic”, he has 15 years of project, program, and people leadership experience, advancing strategic initiatives in public sector organizations. His approach to structuring program direction and planning consultations involves a mix of agile strategy, appreciative inquiry, and the practice of “strategic doing”. His focus is on action-oriented collaborations that move quickly toward measurable outcomes. Shawn holds an M.Ed. in Adult Education and PhD in Educational Studies, from Mount Saint Vincent University. He is currently leading a provincial education project that requires responsive leadership, relationship development, and consensus building with 20+ partner organizations from post-secondary, industry, government, and community.
