Atlantic School of Theology's ESMTP featured in Anglican Journal

Atlantic School of Theology is making headlines across the country following the announcement of a $2.5 million USD grant from Lilly Endowment’s Pathways for Tomorrow Initiative.
The grant will fund the establishment of a pioneering Ecumenical Shared Ministries Training Program, the first of its kind in Canada. In a recent feature by the Anglican Journal, AST President, the Rev. Dr. Heather McCance, highlighted the importance of this initiative for the future of the church.
“There’s a deep theological need for Christians to be unified,” President McCance told the Journal. “To have the training for people to do this work faithfully and well will allow them to enter into it better equipped... it can be a real celebration of our unity in Christ.”
The program will include theological training, leadership development, and change management, ensuring that clergy and lay leaders are prepared for the evolving landscape of ministry in Canada.
